16# Equalify Reflow Reader
This is an open source project building a Chrome extension designed to help screen reader users read PDFs.
The extension leverages [Equalify Reflow](https://equalify.uic.edu/reflow), an AI tool for translating PDFs into markdown.
We're excited to build this as part of the [GitHub Open Source Assistive Technology Hackathon](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/open-source-assistive-technology-hackathon-tickets-198406437896).
